Remote  Route Arun  Valley to Everest base camp

A Trek up Nepal's Little Explored Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp.

arun valley trek, ebc trek, arun valley to ebcThis trek approaches the famous Everest Area from the little explored Arun River Valley. The Arun is well known as a treasure- trove of Himalayan fauna and flora. Many little know plants, animals and birds have been discovered here as recently as a decade ago. We will trek up this culturally and naturally rich area starting with a spectacular flight to Tumling Tar airstrip set in the foothills below the Makalu and Kanchanjunga Massifs. Veering westwards we cross the Hinku Khola to join the 'Everest Trail' near Lukla. From Lukla we will have ample time to acclimatize and to explore the fabled villages of Namche, Khunde and Khumjung - home to the indomitable Sherpas of Nepal. As a grand finale to this legendary trek we will make a dawn assent of Kala Patthar for spectacular vistas of the highest mountains on Earth, including Mt. Everest, towering around us.

Moderate to rigorous trekking and camping from 2,100m/7,000 ft. to 4,940m/16,200ft with optional day hikes up to 5,550m/18,200ft. Accommodation in tents with camping mattress. The trek starts with a flight to Tumling Tar and includes all meals, services of experienced local guide, cook, helpers, Sherpas and porters to carry luggage.
